GIS Mapping and GPS Data and GPS Data
We are fully equipped to work with computer based mapping through a geographic information system (GIS) using the latest version of the industry standard software, ArcView by ESRI. This software allows us to integrate geographic information like aerial photographs, soil maps and topographic maps with information specific to your ownership like boundaries, roads and trails, and forest types. This system provides us with a powerful tool to assess your property and produce high-quality, accurate, highly functioning and good looking maps. Additionally, we have access to a large format plotter that permits us to print large-scale maps.

Along with a GIS, we use global positioning system (GPS) units to collect accurate data on the ground. We can record the location of features from your property and download them for use in the GIS, further enhancing the completeness and functionality of our maps.
